City: Streets Bylaw Update Consultation

“Following up on the July meetings with BIA and Ratepayers’ Associations, the City of Toronto invites you, and the general public to a series of information centres citywide this September to review the proposed changes to the Streets Bylaw.

Nassau St. Construction – draft schedule

The note and schedule below were received from Toronto Hydro.  The construction work that has begun on Nassau St. is for the addition of power lines for the new wing of the hospital.

“Below is a draft schedule of tentative dates of construction with respect to Project Nassau- Toronto Western Hospital KDC. Please note that the schedule below are approximations and may change at any time during the course of the project. If there are any “major” revisions of the tentative schedule below, I will update you and inform you at my earliest convenience. Additionally, our permit allows us for construction from Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm. If you have any further questions or concerns you are welcome to contact me directly.”

1)      Build C.C. (Cable Chamber) N /W corner Bellevue and Nassau – Aug 8 to Aug 18

2)      Build C.C. in front of #22 Nassau                    - Aug 8 to Aug 18

3)      Trench west to Leonard                                  -Aug 10 to Aug 30

4)      Trench east towards Spadina                          - Aug 10 to Aug 27

5)      Build C.C. N/E corner Nassau and Augusta      - Aug 20 to Aug 30

6)      Build C.C. S/E corner Leonard and Nassau        - Aug 25 to Sept 15

7)      Trench east to C.C. @ 22 Nassau                      - Aug 30 to  Sept 15
